Cruise

To celebrate Bry being done with 12 years of medical education we went on an Eastern Carribean cruise. Here are some of our pics.

Our first port of call was Half Moon Cay, a private island owned by the cruise line.

The highlight of this trip was going horseriding along the beach. We even got to go bareback in the ocean at the end. This shot is really cool with the boat in the background.

Yeah I know this shot looks kind gay the guy made us hold our hands like this.

Next port of call was St Thomas which was absolutley beautiful.

We first took a 'skyride' up the top of a mountain to take in the breathtaking view.

Then we went to check out Meagan's Bay, once rated in the top 10 beaches in the world and in the list of the 1000 things to do before you die.

We then went on a ecological tour that included a 2 mile kayak through the mangroves, a snorkel and hike to some caves.

Next port - San Juan, Peurto Rico. We went out to El Yunque Rain Forest.

Final stop was the Grand Turks. Here we rode around the island on a bike tour which was alot of fun.

About a month ago (yes I know rather belated in blogging this one) we took Ella to the Kennedy Space Center to increase her knowledge of space history and provide her with a potential future career direction. The trip got off to a rocky start when Ella hurled about 2 litres of vomit all over herself and the car seat 2 hours into the drive. Let me tell you the stench was horrendous. Poor Ella was saturated in vomit from head to toe (in her shoes and all) and it was all over the car seat and managed to get it in the buckle and cleats and all (OK enough details). It would figure that I didn't pack a space outfit so we had to drive to the nearest walmart with a shoeless 2 yr old dressed only in a diaper. Bry took Ella to the toddler section and pulled a dress right of the rack and onto Ella. I spent about 30 minutes in the bathroom trying to clean the seat as best I could. OK so we finally made it to the Space Center and here are some highlights.
